Vacancy- Mission and Pioneer Development Facilitator (part-time)

Are you a passionate and visionary Baptist minister with a heart for mission and pioneering? The Northern Baptist Association is looking for a part-time Mission and Pioneer Development Facilitator to inspire and empower churches and individuals to join in with what God is already doing in their communities.
​
In this dynamic role, you will:

Support and enable new and existing missional initiatives across the NBA

Mentor and equip pioneers and smaller churches to develop sustainable ministries

Build strategic partnerships with other networks and organisations
-
Help shape the future of mission within the Association
We’re looking for a BUGB-accredited Baptist Minister with proven experience in pioneering and missional leadership, strong relational and networking skills, and the flexibility to work across diverse settings.

This is a part-time role of 2 days a week with a salary of £15,379 (actual salary). Flexible working arrangements and travel required.

Becoming an NBA Trustee
We are passionate to see God’s Kingdom come in power to touch people’s lives and shape our society.

We do this by working as a team to serve the churches and missional communities across the Northern Baptist Association.
We are currently seeking people to serve the association as trustees and members of council; as a trustee you will join the team in overseeing the work of the association.
​
We are seeking people with experience in:

Human Resources,

Financial Planning,

Mission,
-
Digital Media

You will need to be a member of a Baptist Church within the NBA and be committed to attending meetings and away days. On average the trustees meet six times a year online and have two aways in person on a Saturday (dates given in advance.). There is also the option to join working groups for a season on a particular area of focus that the Council discern.
​
As a trustee you are committing to serve the association and represent the NBA churches at meetings and sometimes national events.
​
Trustee (council members) elections happen annually at the AGM (April 2025) and serve for a 3 year term. People are able to serve for two terms (6 years) before taking a years break (in line with our bye-laws).
​
We are looking for people to serve as Trustees on Council (co-oped positions are available to increase the diversity of the team however we hope that there will be diversity in the representation that we have from the NBA churches.)
