Firestarters

Firestarters is a national initiative which developed from some of the fastest-growing Baptist churches in the UK seeking to share their insights of what has enabled them to see significant growth through new people coming to faith in Christ over the past few years.

Over two days we will hold a conversation, hosted by Alex Harris, formerly minister of the Beacon Church in Stafford and now Regional Minister for church planting and pioneering in the Yorkshire Baptist Association.  The event is suitable for church leadership teams and will involve sharing of stories and explaining the principles which underlie their experience of fruitful evangelism.

The event will give you time as a leader or team to reflect on your own context and priorities for mission, and to prayerfully plan ahead as we come out of the period of pandemic restrictions.

We ran a Firestarters conversation two years ago, just before covid changed everything for us and inevitably shifted the plans and ideas which were developed during the event - so we wanted to host a fresh event now that we have the hope of a less restricted future ahead of us (though not without ongoing uncertainties).
